FMIPA Untad held a "Workshop on Management of the MIPA Clump E-Journal at Tadulako University"

This activity is carried out with the aim of: Provide understanding related to OJS journal management 3 according to national accreditation standards. And give tips, tricks and strategies to penetrate SINTA's national rankings 2 and 1 as well as penetrating rankings/indices in international databases including DOAJ, with sources, Dr. Miftahul Ilmi, Editor In Chief Journal of Tropical Biodiversity and Biotechnology (JTBB) and at the same time a lecturer at the Faculty of Biology, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta.  The participants in this activity are Journal managers in the scope of FMIPA which consist of the Editor in Chief, Associate Editor and Technical Editors/Editorial Board of 7 Journal managed by FMIPA.

Activities last from hours 10:00 to 16:00 WITA, opened by the dean of Fmipa (Prof. Darmawati Darwis) and carried out by a committee team coordinated by Prof. Sulaiman Zubair (J. Galenika) and Fahri, S.Si. M.Si (J. Natural Science). The workshop was carried out in 2 session. In the first session, delivered the main material and examples of good and Accreditation-oriented Journal management. Next, on session 2 Journal surgery was performed, with the aim of reviewing the current status of the Journal and determining the next steps before entering the accreditation application. Journals managed by FMIPA include: 1) Galenika Journal of Pharmacy 2) Natural Science: Journal of Science and Technology 3) COVALEN 4) Journal of Applied and Mathematical Sciences 5) Biocelebes 6) Gravity and 7) Parameter, (https://bestjournal.untad.ac.id), is expected to be further developed as one of the benchmarks for the development of Science and Technology in FMIPA at present and in the future.

Follow up of today's activities, it is hoped that the journal managers will immediately return to their respective journal kitchens, make improvements according to the results of the workshop and prepare the accreditation process according to the targets that have been planned in each journal. Starting with good intentions and good wishes, through a good way, Hopefully all FMIPA Journals can immediately improve their Accreditation status. Best wishes. (INS)
