As much 7 student representatives from each study program within the FMIPA scope participate in the selection of Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres) Faculty level which was held online on Monday (17/5/21). The student is Yayang Matira, Abd Rahmat Sapa, Nurul Fazharia, Arif Ahmadi |, Agrian Candrika Utami, Rian Aristiawan, and Syaprudin Penda.
Besides has a Grade Point Average above 3.5 and public speaking skills the good one, all faculty level Pilmapres participants are selected students with a variety of excellent achievements ranging from careers in organizations to various national level achievements.
Yayang Matira Representative of Statistics
College student who has a hobby of reading has been a finalist in the National competition at the UGM Statistics Festival 2021, participants of the National Statistics Olympiad, and participants Data Visualization Using R (DataCovid-19 Case Study) at the Agricultural Institute Bogor. Arif Ahmadi Chemical Representative
Since year 2011, Arif Ahmadi has won many awards that he should be proud of. appreciation among them are Speech Contest winners in Central Sulawesi 2011 and 2012, Runner Up for the Poso Regional English Olympiad in the year 2013, , Runner Up the Physics Olympiad in Sulawesi in the middle of the year 2014, , Runner Up in the Chemistry Olympiad se Central Sulawesi in years 2015-2016, and , Pertamina Olympiad Runner Up Field Chemistry. Agrian Candrika Utami Technical Representative Geophysics
Student Geophysical Engineering who has GPA 3,82 this is pursuing a hobby in the field of design graphic. In organization, he always has a related responsibility with multimedia. Rian Aristiawan Representative of Biology
As Biology student, Rian has been heavily involved in various association and organizational activities other. Syaprudin Penda Physics Representative
Various Syaprudin won awards in the National event, including the winners gold medal at the Indonesian Science Competition in the field of English, medalist silver in the English Student Science Olympiad, as well as a medalist bronze in the Physics competition for Student and Teacher levels throughout Indonesia. Even though he has achieved a GPA 3,94, He remains active in empowerment and activities organizations such as the initiator of the Free Book Bazaar in one village Banggai Regency, Koordinator Physics English Community HIMAFI FMIPA UNTAD, and Member of the Mandri Financial Division of the UNTAD FMIPA Research Agency.
Previous, Pilmapres is an annual activity organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture as a form of appreciation to the best students from universities that are ready to become agents of change in Indonesia.
As chairman of the committee, Dr.Erwin said that the selection of Pilmapres for FMIPA level based on assessment indicators which include a portfolio of achievements, assessment of creative ideas, as well as the participant's ability to speak English. Then the jury will determine the three winners who will be sent to represent FMIPA at the Tadulako University selection.
"The first selection is carried out by the study program by selecting two students, Furthermore, at the FMIPA level, a selection is carried out with indicators in the form of an achievement portfolio assessment starting from the faculty level to the national level. The next indicator is the assessment of their writing, and the last is an assessment of English proficiency. Then from the results of the assessment three students will be selected representing the Faculty to compete at the University level "
As for the three students who were selected as winners of the Pilmapres selection for FMIPA level is Syaprudin Penda from physics study program (Rating 1), Yayang Matira from statistics study program (Rating 2), and Rian Setiawan from biology study program (Rating 3).
