Three Mathematics Study Program students who are members of the LKTI FMIPA UNTAD Team, namely Andre Saputra Paliling, Farida, and Ipung Karini won first place in LOGIKA UI (Mathematical Activity Competition, University of Indonesia). Activities carried out starting from 2 July 2018-end of January 2019 This is held at the MIPA UI Faculty and routinely every two years.
There are three types of competitions held by the University of Indonesia including MIC (Mathematic Individual Competition), MTC (Mathematic Team Competition), STC (Statistic Team Competition), and LKTI (Scientific Writing Competition). Entitled "Measuring the Success of Praziquantel in Overcoming Schistosomiasis and Ascariasis Coinfection in the Napu Valley", The LKTI FMIPA team raised the idea of the spread and treatment of rare diseases that are only found in the Napu Valley, Central Sulawesi.
A member of the LKTI FMIPA UNTAD Team, Farida said that to achieve success they must go through several stages, namely the call for abstract stage, call for paper, full paper, Until the presentation stage, "we took part in the UI national LKTI competition, where through several stages namely the call for abstract stage, then will undergo a call of paper stage, then the participants with the best work will be invited to present their work which will become finalists. We passed the full paper stage with 15 big in Indonesia. Then the announcement stage in December we passed 5 major in health and medical sub-themes, "said Farida.
