Hammer, 14 October 2024 – In the graduation ceremony held at FMIPA Tadulako University (UNTAD), Dwi Putri succeeded in winning the title as the best graduate, thanks to his dedication and enthusiasm in the field of Geophysical Engineering. Dwi's interest in physics since high school became a strong basis for her choice of this major, especially after the disaster that rocked Palu in 28 September 2018, which encouraged him to study more deeply about earth and disasters.
Dwi shared, “The biggest challenge I faced during college was the pile of assignments and practicums that had to be completed every week. However, I learned to manage my time efficiently so that everything can be fulfilled.” Apart from academic challenges, he also admits that there is a sense of saturation. To solve it, Dwi often diverts attention to activities he likes, keeping a balance between studying, organize, and relax.
One of Dwi's most memorable experiences was when he served as a practical assistant in the field, which helped him understand more deeply earthly phenomena. He felt the warmth of the relationships between students and lecturers that were formed in this atmosphere.
Family support, especially his parents and older siblings, became Dwi's main source of motivation. He also thanked the lecturers in his department who always provided valuable guidance and input. “I adhere to the principle that 'with difficulty there must be ease', which encourages me to always think positively,” he said.
After graduation, Dwi plans to continue his education to a higher level, with the hope of making a real contribution to the world of education and society. He conveyed a message to FMIPA UNTAD students to remain consistent in their studies and not hesitate to ask for help. “Every challenge is an opportunity to grow,” the message, invite their peers to dare to take risks and always believe in their abilities.
With the achievements he achieved, Dwi Putri is not only an inspiration for other students, but also reflects the great potential that FMIPA UNTAD graduates have in facing future challenges.
