FMIPA UNTAD ICOBB HELD 2020

ICoBB (1st International Conference on Biodiversity and Biotechnology) 2020, has been officially opened by the Dean of FMIPA (Mrs. Darmawati darwas PhD) today's hour 09:00. This activity is an international meeting which focuses on the field of Biotechnology and Biodiversity driven by the Department of Biology and Pharmacy, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.. Chairman of the committee (Dr. Annawaty) reported that this meeting was followed by almost 200 participants consisting of undergraduate students, graduate student, Lecturers and Researchers from several universities. The committee on behalf of FMIPA has invited and presented key note speakers from 6 country, who present according to their area of ​​expertise and will be followed by a parallel session that will present 25 article title.


As the main speaker is Prof.. Dr. Jimmy Adair McGuire, (Department of Integrative Biology, University of California, Berkeley, California, United States), Wanatchaporn Arunmanee, Ph.D, (Chulalongkorn University, Thailand), Assoc. Prof. Kenneth Thermann Kongstad (University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark), Thomas von Rintelen, Ph.D. (Museum of Natural Science, Berlin, German), Assoc. Prof. Andre F. Cruz (Kyoto Prefectural University, Japan). As well as displays 2 Mr home speaker, apt. M. Sulaiman Zubair, Ph.D, (Department of Pharmacy) and Dr. Lif.Sc. I Nengah Suwastika (Department of Biology).
The Dean of Fmipa expressed his high appreciation to the Rector of Untad, International Office, Committee Chair and Team, as well as all supported parties who have worked hard to prepare the International Conference to be held today, with the hope that this activity will benefit the development of science and technology at Tadulako University, especially FMIPA.
