FMIPA UNTAD Held MIPAnet school activities with the topic of Disaster.

FMIPANEWS, 24 August 2020 has been officially opened by the Vice Chancellor for Development and Cooperation UNTAD (Prof. Amar), MIPAnet School activities with the theme of Disaster. This activity is one form of implementing the Free Learning-Free Campus program with weight 2 SKS which will last till date 28 August 2020. This activity was followed by 58 student from 11 Higher Education in Indonesia, with Source people: Prof. Adi Susilo (Univ. Brawijaya, Dr. Ali Hamsyah (Univ. Hasanuddin) and Dr. Rustan Effendi (Univ. Tadulako).

In the Opening Remarks, Secretary General of MIPAnet (Prof. Hadi Suwono), conveyed that MIPAnet school this time was the second session 4, after previously being held at Univ. Islam Bandung, US, and UGM, with a different theme. The aim of this program is to establish cooperation and transfer of science and technology between universities., as well as promoting Mathematics and Natural Sciences to the wider community.
During the Covid-19 pandemic this time, activities are carried out online, however, it is hoped that this activity can be carried out properly, and useful for students participating in MIPAnet school. As the host this time is the Physics Department of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, under the coordination of Dr. Rustan effendi. The same activity with the theme Biodiversity has been programmed to be carried out in September by the Department of Biology. We wish you success in working for the nation. (INS)
