The Chancellor Inaugurated the Dean of FMIPA and FATEK

Located in the Media Center building, The Chancellor of Tadulako University inaugurated the Dean of FMIPA, Darmawati Darwis, S.Si., M.Si, Ph.D and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Eng. Andi Rusdin, ST., MT., M. Sc on Tuesday, 12 June 2019. Activities that take place in this service, also attended by the Vice Rector, Deans, Postgraduate Director, Bureau chief, Head of UPT, Lecturers and staff of Tadulako University employees.

In his speech, the Rector congratulate the two Deans who are appointed and hope that they can carry it out mandate well because according to him the position of dean is a position which is very strategic and has a heavy enough responsibility.

 The Chancellor explained that In the future, there are two tasks related to the credibility of the institution very important and must be resolved immediately. That is preparation welcome new students and the right strategy for UNTAD students who have undergo a study period for 7 year or threatened drop out.

In the future, I think there are two important burdens that we must resolve. The first is to welcome our children, new students. In this case, of course, we have to prepare ourselves with the conditions and situations of the campus. One of the most pressing things for us is an agreement with the local government to accept new students who excel through collaboration.

The next most difficult challenge is students who have undergone a period of study for 7 the year was not very good for heard and by that I conveyed it to Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs that the wisdom we are doing now to extend the study period to December, i wish it was only one just one time,"He explained.

Regarding services to students, The Chancellor also advised that the Dean must carry out his duties properly so that authority can be applied and used as appropriate.

In this event, The Rector also appointed Dr. Vitayanti Fattah, I KNOW., M.Si as Central Coordinator Coaching and Development of Student Activities (P3K2) Untad, and Haliadi SS., Mr. Hum, PhD, as Secretary of the Center for Development and Activity Development Untad Student Affairs.
