The selection of PILMAPRES at the FMIPA level has been carried out held in the senate room of FMIPA on the date 26 March 2019. At the event this achievement, every study program sends 2 best students who are ready follow the selection and will be judged by a jury. The assessment parameters in determining outstanding students that is, based on scientific work, presentation in english, to other achievements accompanied by physical evidence.
At the end of the determination, 3 size of all selected participants as students who have the ability to achieve and are competent to representing FMIPA at the UNIVERSITY level. College student that is, Putri Anggraeni from the Study Program Mathematics (Champion I), Faisal Al Faed (Champion II) from Physics, and Reski Septiana (Champion III) from Biology.
Students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences managed to win at the election The most oustanding student (PILMAPRES) 2019 TADULAKO UNIVERSITY level. They are Faisal Al Faed from the department physics who won first place and Putri Anggraeni from the biology department who won III. Managed to become a champion at PILMAPRES UNTAD, Faisal Al Faed elected as UNTAD delegate at the regional level PILMAPRES throughout Sulawesi.
Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, FMIPA, Dr. Rustan Efendi, S.Si, MT hopes that other students can be motivated to take part in the selection that can improve their achievement. "In this case, we hope that other students can be motivated to take part in the selections in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences so that the results obtained can be superior both at the regional level to the national level".
He also instructed FMIPA students to improve their abilities in various achievements, both academic and non-academic. "Message for students, First, students must improve their abilities, especially in making scientific papers, the second can improve his ability to speak English, and thirdly, it can improve the ability to participate in competitions both from scientific papers, the field of art, sports and all the achievements that can support the assessment and selection to become a student with achievement ".
Student achievements cannot be separated from the role of educators, Dr. Rustan Efendi, S.Si, MT advised all lecturers to be willing to provide guidance to all students. "Our message is for lecturers, hopefully willing to provide guidance to all students. So that our students can be motivated, and secondly we can make the best possible scientific work ". He explained
