FMIPA UNTAD Achieves Brilliant Achievement at Indonesian Inventors Day 2024

Faculty of Math and Science (FMIPA) Tadulako University has once again recorded extraordinary achievements on the international stage. At the prestigious Indonesian Inventors Day event 2024, which took place at the Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Centre, Bali, at the date of 28-31 August 2024, the FMIPA UNTAD representative team won a bronze medal in the World Invention and Technology Expo category (WINTEX).

Teams known by name Radiant Herb these appear with their revolutionary innovations, a functional food product in the form of jam made from corn husks. This product not only offers delicious taste, but it also has health benefits, namely being able to regulate blood sugar levels and reduce cholesterol levels. The uniqueness and potential of this product managed to amaze the international judges, consisting of experts from various countries.

The competition process is tight, starting on date 28 August with the opening of booths and initial judging by two leading judges from within and outside the country. On 29 August, judging continued with a focus on international awards, where innovations from various parts of the world compete to win grand prizes and special awards. The highlight of the event is on the date 31 August is an unforgettable moment, when Radiant Herb's team was announced as the bronze medalists.

This competition was attended by 25 country, including Russia, South Korea, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Filipina, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and much more. This adds pride to the achievements achieved by the Radiant Herb team. This team is guided by experienced lecturers, Mrs Apt. Sri Sulistiana, S.Farm., M.Si., who continuously provided support and guidance until we succeeded in achieving this proud result.
