Hundreds of students take part in PKKMB FMIPA Untad

[FMIPA News] As much 586 New students take part in the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) which lasted two days, namely on the date 19-20 August 2019. The activities carried out in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences aim to provide an understanding of campus life, foster intelligent and creative character, also hone the hard skills and soft skills of the participants.

In his speech, Dean of FMIPA Untad, Darmawati Darwis, S.Si,M.Sc., Ph.D advised that students must maintain and strive to develop various potential achievements so that in the future FMIPA will be more superior in global competition.

“The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Tadulako University is a proud faculty on this campus. We must realize that FMIPA is the work of all citizens of the nation so we are obliged to maintain and strive to develop it so that it excels in global competition.. This faculty has produced a variety of proud student works, both in the national and international fields”

The Dean also added, that to become students and citizens of Indonesia, Freshmen are expected to be able to take advantage of the learning process while in college by working creatively,innovative, honest, and earnestly

“The opportunity to study at FMIPA must be utilized properly by FMIPA students. As Indonesian citizens we have an obligation to make this country prosperous. Therefore we hope new students can work creatively, innovative, honest, sincere, and earnestly without violating the signs of norms or other rules. Our country requires a creator not a buyer. The learning process that will be carried out will make you a child of the nation who is able to fulfill your obligations to contribute expertise in the form of various works for the country., nation, and the alma mater”.

The PKKMB was filled with various activities and performances by FMIPA students including gymnastics together, the cabaret stage of biology study program students, devotional work, art performances from static art studios, to various materials aimed at increasing knowledge and building character for new students.
