Faculty
The faculty is an element of implementing some of the main tasks of the university and is led by the Dean who reports directly to the Chancellor. The faculty is in charge of implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education namely education and teaching, research and community service aside from carrying out academic community development and administration service activities. In performing daily tasks, The Dean is assisted by 3 the Deputy Dean is the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs (Herd) Deputy Dean for General Administration and Finance (BIDUK), and Deputy Dean for Student Affairs (BIMA).

Majors courses
The implementing element of Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi under the faculty is carried out by a department / study program led by a Head of Department / Study Program Coordinator who reports directly to the Dean. In performing day tasks- day, The Head of the Department is assisted by a Secretary. At present FMIPA UNTAD has 7 Study Program viz: Study program Physics, Study program Mathematics, Study program Chemistry, Study program Biology, Study program Pharmacy, Statistics Studies Program, and Geophysical Engineering Study Program

Faculty Senate
The Faculty Senate is the highest normative body in member Faculties- its members consist of teaching staff with the Headmaster's Department plus the Dean, Deputy Dean, Head of Departments / Study Program Coordinator, and several lecturers as representatives from each department. The Faculty Senate has the task of formulating basic policies at the faculty level and its function is to provide direction, Settings, supervision, development, evaluation and consideration to faculty leadership. The Senate is chaired by a Chairman who in day-to-day work is assisted by a Secretary elected from among the members of the senate.

Supporting Units
Based on the above structure, In FMIPA UNTAD, several support units were formed to strengthen the commitment of services for the academic community, i.e.: Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) to support the implementation of quality assurance in the Faculties and Quality Assurance Groups (GPM) to support the implementation of quality assurance in the study program and Laboratory Services Unit to support the practicum and research process, Information Technology and Network Team Unit to ensure the fulfillment of facilities that support the needs of Information Technology in the faculty.
