Mengusung tema <em>\u201cMenyikapi Bumi, Membagikan Info: Refleksi Pengamat Kebencanaan Sulawesi Tengah\u201d<\/em>, forum ini tidak hanya menjadi wadah diskusi ilmiah, tetapi juga bentuk penghormatan atas dedikasi dan pengabdian akademis seorang pengamat kebencanaan daerah, Ir. Drs. Abdullah, M.T.<\/p><p>Acara ini dihadiri oleh jajaran pimpinan universitas, para mantan dekan FMIPA terdahulu, serta para tamu undangan. Dalam sambutan sekaligus pembukaan acara, Dekan FMIPA UNTAD, Prof. Dr. Lufsyi Mahmudin, S.Si., M.Si., menyampaikan apresiasi yang mendalam atas peran penting Ir. Drs. Abdullah, M.T. sebagai Dekan Pertama FMIPA UNTAD sejak fakultas ini berdiri pada tahun 2007. Menjelang masa purna bakti beliau pada Maret 2027 mendatang, kegiatan ini diselaraskan pula dengan peringatan sewindu bencana gempa bumi Sulawesi Tengah 28 September 2018 sebagai momen refleksi diri bersama.<\/p><p>Prof. Lufsyi menegaskan bahwa rekam jejak Ir. Drs. Abdullah, M.T. selama 19 tahun berkarya sangat luar biasa, khususnya dalam menyebarluaskan literasi lingkungan dan kebencanaan melalui berbagai publikasi ilmiah, artikel, hingga media sosial. &#8220;Saya kira apa yang dilakukan oleh Ir. Drs. Abdullah, M.T. dapat memberikan manfaat yang sangat besar bagi masyarakat luas. Kami menyampaikan penghargaan setinggi-tingginya dan terima kasih yang mendalam atas kesediaan beliau menjadi narasumber utama di tengah padatnya aktivitas,&#8221; tutur Dekan FMIPA UNTAD tersebut.<\/p><p>Dipandu oleh Maskur, S.Si., M.Sc. sebagai moderator, sesi dialog interaktif berlangsung hangat dan dinamis. Dua panelis ahli, yakni Prof. Dr. Ir. Naharuddin, S.Pd., M.Si. (Dosen Fakultas Kehutanan UNTAD) dan Dr. Ir. Anwar Dolu, S.T., M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng. (Dosen Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik UNTAD), membagikan pandangan serta kenangan profesional mereka bersama narasumber. Diskusi mengulas tuntas kondisi geografis Sulawesi Tengah yang berada di wilayah rawan bencana, pentingnya pemahaman mendalam terkait Sesar Palu Koro dan fenomena likuifaksi pasca-kejadian 2018, hingga langkah konkrit mitigasi bencana melalui konstruksi bangunan berstandar keamanan tinggi.<\/p><p>Rangkaian kegiatan diakhiri dengan sesi foto bersama yang diselimuti suasana haru sekaligus penuh kebahagiaan. Segenap civitas akademika FMIPA UNTAD menyampaikan apresiasi dan rasa terima kasih yang mendalam atas seluruh ilmu, keteladanan, serta dedikasi tanpa henti yang telah diabdikan oleh Ir. Drs. Abdullah, M.T. Bagi masyarakat dan generasi penerus di perguruan tinggi, karya dan rekam jejak beliau akan terus menjadi inspirasi yang bermanfaat.
